What To Do In Westborough This Weekend

WESTBOROUGH, Mass. — The weekend will be a busy one for schools, as a blood drive, wreath sale and holiday party will be hosted at Westborough High School. 

Hastings Elementary School will also host the 45th annual Westborough Ski Swap, put on by Explorer Post 85. 

The Westborough Woman's Club will also host its annual holiday house tour Saturday and the handbell choir will perform Sunday.

Below is a full listing of the weekend's events.

Friday, Dec. 7

Blood Drive: 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. the National Honor Society and Red Cross will host a blood drive at Westborough High School.

Ski Swap Drop Off: 7 to 9 p.m., Used equipment for Saturday's ski swap may be dropped off Friday evening. Used equipment is sold on a consignment basis. Visit explorerpost85.com for details.

Saturday, Dec. 8

45th Annual Ski Swap: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Annual Westborough Ski Swap will be at Hastings Elementary School. Equipment will include new and used downhill skis, boots and clothing, skates and some cross country equipment. 

Holiday House Tour: 12:30 to 4 p.m. The annual Holiday House tour is sponsored by the Westborough Woman's Club. TIckets can be purchased for $20 at Westborough's Congregational Church or by calling 508-654-3762. 

Class of 2015 Wreath Sale: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Westborough High School Class of 2015 will host a wreath sale fundraiser n the front circle of the school.

Big Brothers & Big Sister Holiday Party: 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The party will be in the Westborough High School cafeteria. 

Sunday, Dec. 9

Handbell Choir Concert: 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. The handbell choirs of the First United Methodist Church of Westborough will be performing arrangements of familiar Christmas music and original compositions under the direction of Cynthia Hamburger and Alice Morrison. 

Red Cross Blood Drive: 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. There will be a blood drive at Congregation B'Nai Shalom (117 E. Main St.) All donors will receive a free T-shirt.
