WESTBOROUGH, Mass. ‒ A busy weekend in Westborough kicks off with a girls soccer game against Holy Name Friday and closes with the final show in the Bay State Concert Series.
Friday, Sept. 14
Chair Massage With Gail: 9 a.m. The Westborough Senior Center is offering 15-minute chair massages for $10. Call the Senior Center for reservations.
Westborough Girls Soccer: 4 p.m. Two straight 2-1 losses have Rangers girls soccer (1-2) looking to rebound. They will try to get back on track at home against Holy Name.
Westborough Volleyball: 5:15 p.m. After derailing Marlborough's 22-game win streak, Westborough volleyball (2-0) will face Shrewsbury on the road.
Saturday, Sept. 15
Mass. Beverage Alliance Tasting: 1 to 4 p.m. Julio's Liquors at 140 Turnpike Road will host a tasting.
Free Community Breakfast: 8 to 11 a.m. Benjamin Franklin DeMolay will again be holding its all-you can-eat breakfast buffet at Siloam Lodge of Masons. This free, monthly event is offered as a community service and is also an opportunity to learn more about DeMolay & Masonry. 12 Church St., Westborough.
Westborough at Holy Name: 1 p.m. Rangers football (0-1) faces off against Holy Name of Worcester (0-1) on the road. They will have to stop one of the state's top running backs, Quron Wright, to get into the winning column this week.
Westborough Community Chorus Yard, Bake and Book Sale: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The sale will be held at the Harvey School Building at 20 Philips St. Proceeds will go toward music scholarships.
Sun. Sept. 16
Bay State Commons Concert: 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. The Final installment of the Bay State Concert Series will feature Grace Morrison and the RSO. The concert is sponsored by Westborough High School's Class of 2013, and the seniors will host a bakesale to benefit the Class of 2013 during the concert.
Girl Scout Registration: 4 to 5 p.m. Westborough Girl Scouts will have open registration for girls in kindergarden through 12th grade at the First United Methodist Church on W. Main Street. The cost is $12 per membership. Volunteers are also needed for working with scout troops. Email Westboroughgirlscouts.com for more information.
Rosh Hashana Evening Service: 7:30 p.m. Beth Tikvah Synagogue, 45 Oak St., will host the service.
