WESTBROUGH, Mass. — Two books will become one at the Westborough Public Library on Sunday, when the Worcester Writers Collaborative conducts its book drive to benefit a Haitian orphanage.
The Warm Hearts Children's Book Drive invites everyone to bring two books and swap them for one from the donated collection between 1 and 4:30 p.m at the library.
The drive also encourages the donation of coloring books, crayons, board books and stickers to benefit the Little Brothers and Sisters Orphanage in Haiti.
Tickets to a Worcester Sharks game will be awarded, according to a news release. The event's goal is to collect 500 items.
"We hope you will join us for a fun afternoon of refreshments, a chance to win Worcester Sharks tickets and, above all, an opportunity to bring joy to children," said the release.
