WESTBOROUGH, Mass. – The 85-year-old Internet cooking star who goes only by "Bubbe" will be signing her cookbook at the Boroughs Jewish Community Center. Bubbe and her son, Avrom Honig, who is also part of her online cooking show, will be at the center Thursday, March 29, from 7 p.m to 8:30 p.m.
Bubbe, Yiddish for "grandmother," and Honig have been featured on the PBS Frontline documentary "Digital Nation" and ABC World New Tonight. Her Internet show is also available on JLTV.
Based on the show of the same name, the book "Feed Me Bubbe" includes Bubbe's classic Kosher recipes, as well as her favorite Yiddish songs.
On Thursday, Bubbe will hold a presentation and her cookbooks will be for sale. Israeli dancing follows the event at 45 Oak St., which is free and open to the public.
