WESTBOROUGH, Mass. — The Girl Scouts in Westborough are looking to add up to five new troops and need volunteers to help lead them.
Currently Westborough has 26 troops with more than 300 girls enrolled. The scouting program gives girls the "opportunity to develop leadership skills, explore new opportunities, provide community service, camp and much more," according to a statement.
Leaders will help organize and run bimonthly meetings for troops or provide leadership in programs for girls. Previous participation in Girl Scouts is not required, but those who have prior experience are encouraged to help. Training will be provided throughout the year.
