Where does the time go? It has been three years since GraftonTimes.com was launched.

GraftonTimes.com, now known as TheDailyGrafton.com, was born on March 30, 2009 and was the first site to be launched in the Main Street Connect family of sites. It has grown to include nine towns in Central Massachusetts and is an integral part of the Main Street Connect network, which includes 52 towns in Westchester County, NY, Fairfield County, Conn. and Worcester County, Mass.

The site was created to address an immediate need for timely news in Grafton -- and to celebrate, we're going to help you read our sites on the go. Starting Monday, Main Street Connect is by giving away a Kindle Fire every Monday, Wednesday and Friday for three weeks -- three Kindle Fires a week for three weeks to celebrate our third anniversary!

Winning an Amazon Kindle Fire is a great way to read all the Main Street Connect sites and it is our way of saying thank you to our readers for their support during the last three years!

Main Street Connect delivers electronically delivered, instantly updated news and information that is focused on the town that you live in every day.  The Amazon Kindle Fire is just one way to enjoy the content that is updated every day.  Main Street Connect is bringing the news to you!

To be eligible to win an Amazon Kindle Fire, you need to be a registered user of Main Street Connect, live in one of the towns that Main Street Connect services and be able to pick up your prize at the Main Street Connect offices.  Once you are registered, you will be able to receive daily news updates that are filled with the news of your respective town.

You will also be able to receive Main Street Connect’s URGENT Community Message System. This system allows Main Street Connect registered readers receive vital information instantly concerning urgent news that is happening in their town.

“The URGENT Community Message System service is extremely popular and has become the most effective way to communicate pertinent information immediately," said Jack Schofield, publisher of Main Street Connect Massachusetts.  "It is a service that over 10,000 of our readers have subscribed to, and truly value.”

Randomly chosen registered readers will be chosen every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at noon. This promotion will start on Monday, April 2, 2012 and conclude on Friday, April 20, 2012. Make sure you check our sites everyday to see if you have won a Kindle Fire.

Happy third birthday to TheDailyGrafton.com -- and thank you to our readers for your support over the last three years!
