SHREWSBURY, Mass. - Kenneth Webster, Sr. 79, of Shrewsbury died Wednesday, March 14, 2012 in the Shrewsbury Nursing Home surrounded by family.
Ken's wife, Lois Ann (Frongillo) Webster died in 1999.
He is survived by his two devoted sons, Kenneth Webster, Jr and his wife Susan Eramo-Webster of Shrewsbury, Scott A. Webster and his wife Lynn of Westborough; seven grandchildren; extended family and friends. A brother, Ralph Webster, Jr. pre deceased him.
He was born in Springfield, a son of Ralph W. Webster, Sr. and Frances (Lyons) Webster. He grew up in Millbury, joined the U.S. Air Force to serve his country during the Korean War and has lived in Worcester and North Adams before moving to Shrewsbury.
Ken worked as a Department Supervisor, for the Big D, Wonder Supermarkets over 30 years before retiring.
Ken loved to fish, read and New England sports especially the Red Sox and Patriots.
Funeral services and burial will be held privately. There are no calling hours.
Memorial contributions in Ken's name may be made to the Shrewsbury Nursing Home, 30 Julio Dr., Shrewsbury. The Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel, 370 Plantation St. is honored to assist the family with arrangements.
