WESTBOROUGH, Mass. — The following Westborough cancellations have been announced in anticipation of a winter storm that is expected to drop 18 to 24 inches of snow.
- Westborough Public Schools will be closed Friday, and all activities are canceled for Friday and Saturday.
- EL Harvey & Sons transfer station will close at 3 p.m. Friday and remain closed all day Saturday.
- The retirement party for Phil Kittredge scheduled for 6 p.m. Friday night at Knights of Columbus Hall has been cancelled. No make-up date has been determined.
- Hastings Elementary's Winter Festival scheduled for Saturday morning has been postponed. A make-up date has yet to be determined.
- Westborough Public Library will be close at noon Friday and remain closed all day Saturday.
- Good Shepherd Lutheran Church closed Friday and Saturday.
- Congregation B'Nai Shalom's Friday-night and Saturday-morning services have been cancelled.
- Girl Scout cookie booth sales cancelled Friday and Saturday
- MBTA service suspended as of 3:30 p.m. Friday
- Saturday's Conservation Commission site walk has been cancelled.
