Westborough Power Should Be Fully Restored By Friday

UPDATE 1 p.m.

WESTBOROUGH, Mass. — According to the Westborough Police Department major areas still without  power are Lackey Street, Phylmor Drive, Stratton Drive and Arrowhead Lane. 

National Grid is working to remove trees on power lines at 29 Lackey St., Chestnut Street at Ruggles Street and a downed wire on W. Main Street at John Street. 

The projected time for full recovery of power is by midnight on Friday, Nov. 2.

WESTBOROUGH, Mass. — National Grid is working on restoring power, but about 150 homes are still without electricity as of Wednesday morning. 

The majority of outages are centered in the area of Nourse Street in Westborough. 

Westborough police also reported damage to utility poles on Smith Street and Crestview Avenue. 

Halloween plans will go on as scheduled for Westborough despite the outages. Westborough PD recommends trick-or-treaters to be out and about betwen 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday evening.
