WESTBOROUGH, Mass. - Virginia Nenni Davis, beloved wife of 56 years of Claud M. Davis, died Dec. 15, 2012, with her family at her side.
She is also survived by a daughter, Stephanie Davis Deitzer and her husband Jim of Boston, a son Claud P. Davis and his wife Rebecca of Southborough and grandchildren Jennifer Lauren, Claud Matthew and Thomas Michael.
Born in Arlington, NY (now Town of Poughkeepsie) February 12, 1921, to Amalia (DiGennaro) and Finislao Nenni she was predeceased by her siblings Filbert Nenni and Margherite Beck.
She was a 1939 graduate of Poughkeepsie High School and the Wood-Purinton School of Business. Mrs. Davis worked at DeLaval Separator Company and had a career as executive assistant to the site controller of IBM Poughkeepsie and, after her children were grown, to the assistant dean of students at Dutchess Community College.
Calling hours are Tuesday, Dec. 18, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Rand-Harper-Pickering Westborough Funeral Home, 62 West Main Street, Westborough. Services at the First United Methodist Church, 120 West Main St., Westborough are Wednesday, Dec. 19 at 11 a.m. with reception following.
Interment service will take place on Thursday, Dec. 20, at the Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery at noon followed by a reception at the Italian Center, Poughkeepsie, NY.
