WESTBOROUGH, Mass. – Roselyn "Sis" C. O'Neil of Westborough died Jan. 21 at Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation in Westborough. She was 94.
Born Jan. 14, 1919, in Westborough, O'Neil was the daughter of Joseph and Theresa McNeil Lilly. She was educated in Westborough schools and was the valedictorian of her graduating class. She graduated from South Middlesex Secretarial School in Framingham, Mass.
She was married to Edward X. O'Neil, who predeceased her. She worked as a purchasing agent for Bay State Abrasives and then in the probation office at the Westborough District Court prior to her retirement.
O'Neil was a communicant of St. Luke the Evangelist Church and a member of the Women of St. Luke’s and St. Luke's Senior Adults.
She is survived by a daughter, Jane D. O'Neil, of Westborough; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Agnes Lilly O'Neil.
Visitation is from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Britton-Summers Funeral Home in Westborough. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Luke the Evangelist Church in Westborough. Burial will follow at St. Luke’s Cemetery.
