Police Log: Multiple Westborough Arrests Close Out 2012

WESTBOROUGH, Mass. — New Year's Eve wasn't a party for Westborough police officers, who made two arrests in the waning hours of 2012. 

• Kenneth Edward Barriere, 27, of East Main Street, was arrested on a probation warrant just after 6 p.m. New Year's Eve, police said. 

• David Firmin, 76, of Worcester, was arrested and charged with assault and battery just after 9 p.m. Dec. 31, police said.  

• Shannon Williams, of Hyder Street, Westborough, was arrested Dec. 29 and charged with assault and battery, police said.
