Candidates Line Up For Tuesday's Elections In Westborough

WESTBOROUGH, Mass. - Tuesday is Election Day for town offices in Westborough. Here is information you should know before you vote.

The candidates

Selectmen: Three candidates are running for two seats. The incumbents are Leigh Emery and Timothy Dodd, and this challenger is Stephen Faris.

School Board: Two incumbents, Bruce Tretter and Stephen Doret, are running for two seats.

Planning Board: Joanne Mallozzi is running unopposed for re-election.

Library Board of Trustees: Three seats are available. Helena Engberg is running for re-election. Kathleen Daly and Edward Baldwin are running as write-in candidates

Housing Authority: Charles Naples is running unopposed for re-election to his five-year seat. Jill Dupree and William Linnane are vying for three-year term.

Voting will be held from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the following polling places:

  • Precinct 1: Gibbons Middle School Gym, 20 Fisher St.
  • Precinct 2: Hastings Elementary School Gym, 111 E. Main St.
  • Precinct 3: Gibbons Middle School Gym, 20 Fisher St.
  • Precinct 4: Mill Pond Intermediate School, 6 Olde Hickory Path
  • Precinct 5: Mill Pond Intermediate School, 6 Olde Hickory Path

If you are not sure of where you vote, call the town clerk’s office at 508-366-3020.

The town Meeting will be held Saturday, March 16, starting at 1 p.m. at Westborough High School.
