WESTBOROUGH, Mass. - The Board of Assessors has recently completed a reassessment of all property values within the town in an effort to equalize assessments at 100 percent of fair market value as of Jan. 1, 2012.
The project was completed in accordance with guidelines established by the Massachusetts Department of Revenue, utilizing the analysis of sales which occurred during calendar year 2011.
Pending Department of Revenue approval, the proposed new values will be available for public review in the Assessor’s Office from Friday, Nov. 2 through Friday, Nov. 9. Office hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m., Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Friday from 7:30 a.m. to noon.
