Mr. Roney is a mouthpiece for Rep. Dykema. He'll make excuses for her no matter what. He'll try to change the subject to distract.
Here's the facts - Rep.Dykema lied. She said one thing and did another. She said in the Hopkinton debate she would vote to put committee votes online. She was against it, and voted against it 3 times. She said she would now vote for it. Instead she voted against it.
Here's the video in her own words - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R0E66UJ3IPI&feature=youtu.be&utm_source=midnite&utm_campaign=midnight&utm_medium=email
This brings new meaning to the word flip flop. How many times does she break her word. It's habitual.
After she voted No in the House, the Senate voted Yes the next day to put committee votes online. The technology does exist. She lied again.
She lied. She was caught in that lie. Voters hold elected officials accountable. She is being held to account. Instead, she and her minions dig the hole deeper and lie more and make matters that much worse of their own choosing.
It's quite amusing to watch them squeal and squirm. View Comment
Kelly Roney is a mouthpiece for Dykema and he is lying just like her.
Dykema filed a bill that will not turn into anything real. Under the House rules it is a matter previously considered and would be ruled out of order.
This is just a smoke screen. During the recent rules debate, she could have voted for 26 measures to create more transparency, but she did not.
It's all spin by a politician who votes with the Speaker and wants to hide it.
Ms Dykema and her trolls just keep making lame excuses and digging the whole deeper and deeper.
Dykema lied. Her mouthpieces and surrogates who post are lying. They all lie, because they are trapped and have nothing to say, just squirm and squeal about it.
These are facts that cannot be denied no matter how much whining and moaning and complaining the Dykema camp does. They are dishonest and couldn't see the truth if it hit them in the face. They are blind robots.
Dykema got caught in a BIG FAT LIE.

Committee votes is not supposed to be law. It is the operating procedures in the House. The rules were debated 10 days ago. They will not come up again for another 2 years. This matter has been considered by the legislature and cannot be taken up again.
That's the indisputable fact. Ms. Dykema betrayed our trust. View Comment
Mr. Roney is incapable of telling the truth. He doesn't have a leg to stand on, and therefore chooses to make personal attacks, call people names, and throw insults like a 2 year old with a temper tantrum. He can't defend the indefensible. Dykema lied. It's on video. They can't do anything about it. They can only make lame excuses and try to deflect and change the subject. They are squirming and squirming.
Many of us realize that legislation doesn't get out of committee. Also, committee votes is not supposed to be law. It is the operating procedures in the House. The rules were debated 10 days ago. She cannot be trusted. This is dishonest. She has no respect for voters, and she doesn't tell the truth !
She said during the Hopkinton debate last fall that it was a mistake to vote against putting these votes online. She said she would vote the other way if re-elected. Any teenager can do it.
Ms Dykema should never have been re-elected. This is the reason why. She says one thing and does another. She doesn't give a wit about promises to voters. They are empty words. All she cares about is being a Boston pol. She's part of the Beacon Hill gang that votes lock step with the Speaker from Winthrop. She doesn't give a wit about representing constituents in the district.

Thank you to Marty Lamb for running for State Rep, putting forth substantive legislative ideas, and being the choice for State Representative for a respectable ~40% of voters. View Comment
You are dishonest, Mr. Frank.
Mr. Frank is absolutely wrong in his analysis of the forced unionization of home daycare. If you read the legislation it does. For 8 years home daycares have refused to join the SEIU of their own free will. So this year the SEIU got the legislature to force it upon them.
Mr. Frank states in his letter that a small amount will be taken out of the voucher. He makes the point. That money goes to the union. It doesn't go to the home daycare owner. It doesn't help care for children. Mr. Frank leaves out his letter that the legislature care raise the rates at any time to home daycare owners. No union is required. He also leaves out of the letter that the legislature rejected raising their rates this year. Let me state it very clearly no union is required to raise the rates at any time. The legislature has the power to do it. This was just an election year gift to the powerful union in the state.
The state does have a low rate of reimbursement. Now home daycares are making an even lower rate due to the money coming out of the voucher. Mr. frank fails to explain how that difference will be made up. There are two ways. One the home daycare will raise the rates on parents. Or two they will close their doors.
I do suggest people read the legislation. I also suggest that contact Kathy D'Agostino. She is the home daycare lady who has been fighting the SEIU. She is living thru this nightmare.
Mr. Frank is just upset that this is another one of Rep. Dykema's votes with the Speaker where she didn't know what she was voting for or didn't care. As we saw in the Hopkinton debate, Rep. Dykema had to admit she was wrong voting against putting committe votes online. That's just one of many votes. If Marty could debate her on all of her other votes it would become very evident she just votes for the Speaker. She voted against making the Ethics Committee nonpartisan twice. She voted against a new code of ethics. She believes not taxing food and clothing is a tax loophole. Most people believe that is a new tax not a loophole to be closed.

Yes, her record does speak for itself, and it's dismal.
CAROLYN DYKEMA BEHOLDEN TO BOSTON
100% of Incumbent's Mailings Come From Boston Organizations
Holliston, MA ...Today Marty Lamb, Republican candidate for State Representative in the Eighth Middlesex District, once again corrected Rep. Carolyn Dykema's claims of not being beholden to special interest groups. The problem with Dykema's assertions is that every piece of mail that has landed in voters' mailboxes in October and now November has come not from the district and not from her campaign, but rather the organizations from Boston.
"100% of her mail has come from outside the district. It has either come from the MTA or the Democrat Party in Boston. It shows you who she's beholden to," said Lamb. "No outside groups have mailed for me."
Lamb is not surprised that the Massachusetts Democrat Party is aggressively mailing for her, because she is a very reliable vote for the Speaker. Dykema votes with the Speaker 95.37% of time and the Democrat Party would want to preserve that vote.
"I am running to represent the people of this district. The Worcester Telegram which rarely endorses a challenger over an incumbent supports my candidacy and called me the balance candidate," said Lamb.
Lamb found Dykema's press release intellectually dishonest claiming to forgo special interest money. "While she doesn't take the $500 checks, she does accept the outside mailers which cost far more than $500. Disappointingly she is trying to fool voters. I hope that voters will look at who is paying for her mailings. Voters will see she is beholden to Boston not the district," said Lamb.
Rep. Dykema is a reliable vote for the Speaker. Here are some of her votes and why they are mailing for her:
She voted with the Speaker against putting committee votes online not once but twice. (2009 and 2011) This keeps the public in the dark.
She voted with the Speaker against requiring an independent audit of the House financial records (Roll Call 13 2.11.09)
She voted twice with the Speaker against an amendment to require equal member ship of the Ethics Committee making it nonpartisan (Roll Call 4 1.20.11 and Roll Call 7 2.11.09)
She voted with the Speaker against requiring to report all LOCAL bills within 45 days (Roll Call 20 2.11.09)
She voted with the Speaker against an amendment requiring all bills be in print 24 hours before a vote (Roll Call 8 1.20.11)
Please note that during the Rules debate, Rep. Dykema voted 100% of the time with the Speaker.
She voted with the Speaker against allowing a House floor vote on a new code of Ethics for the House (Roll Call 117 10.5.11)
She voted with the Speaker against an amendment to increase transparency for independent expenditures campaigns (Roll call 38 3.26.09) Note that Rep. Dykema has been a recipient of multiple independent expenditures.
She voted with the Speaker for a parliamentary gimmick to kill requiring voters to show ID to vote (Roll Call 267 5.31.12)
She voted with the Speaker for an amendment to prohibit an effort to obtain a person's legal status before receiving welfare benefits thus allowing illegal immigrants get taxpayer funded benefits (Roll Call 129 5.1.09)
She voted with the Speaker against an amendment to require the state to participate in the Obama administration's Secure communities program that helps deport criminal illegal immigrants (Roll Call 73 4.28.11)
She voted with the Speaker numerous times to kill amendment to stop illegal immigrants from getting taxpayer funded benefits. (Roll Calls 134 11.1.11, Roll Call 71 4.28.11)
She voted with the Speaker to kill an amendment to lower the sales tax from 6.25% to 5.75% (Roll Call 130 11.1.11)
She voted with the Speaker to increase the sales tax by 25%, increased fees at the Registry and to implement a double taxation on alcohol (Roll Call 154 6.19.09)
She voted with the Speaker to bailout the city of Lawrence with $35 million of your tax dollars (Roll Call 294 3.3.10)
She voted with the Speaker against allowing Sheriff's to charge inmates $5 to help pay for housing (Roll Call 82 4.27.09)
She voted with the Speaker against an amendment requiring votes to be taken to increase tolls (Roll Call 51 4.7.09 and Roll Call 60 4.8.09)
She voted with the Speaker against an amendment to gradually roll back the income tax to 5% (Roll Call 39 4.24.11)
Presently cell phone companies have to charge sales tax on the amount a package costs even if it is being discounted. She voted with the Speaker against an amendment that would have allowed customers to only pay the sales tax on what is actually being spent (Roll Call 38 4.25.11)
She voted with the Speaker on a parliamentary gimmick to prevent the House from voting on making one weekend in August the permanent sales tax free weekend (Roll Call 93 7.27.11)
She voted with the Speaker to increase the sales tax by 25% (Roll Call 87 4.27.09)
She voted with the Speaker on a parliamentary gimmick to prevent the House from repealing the double taxation on alcohol (Roll Call 264 11/18.09)
When it comes to pension, please remember she voted against capping state pensions at $100,000 (Roll Call 138 11.2.11)
She voted with the Speaker against an amendment to prohibit pensions for felons for the period of the person's incarceration (Roll Call 66 4.14.09)
There are more Roll Call votes!

As a citizen, Marty Lamb has been a strong advocate for Secure Communities. Lamb supported it and showed up at meetings and took the microphone at the open forum and spoke very eloquently. He also asked pertinent questions which the panel members from the State House could not answer. Very revealing.
Dykema voted against Secure Communities which is an Obama program. It crosses party lines. It’s common sense. She aligned herself with Deval Patrick to oppose Secure Communities which was activated DESPITE all the Democrat efforts to stop it.
Dykema was on the wrong side of the issue again.
Sharing was NOT in place without Secure Communities (SC). Data stopped at the FBI and was not passed on to Homeland Security. SC brought Homeland Security into the loop. Also, prior to SC, Law Enforcement could use discretion and decide when they felt like notifying Homeland Security, leaving potential profiling problems wide open. Under SC there is no discretion, all those arrested & booked must be submitted

Ms. Dykema’s voting record is anti-business by far. She votes with the Speaker from Winthrop 95% of the time. She is a reliable vote for him. She votes to increase sales tax, alcohol tax, against meals tax holiday. She votes to force unionization on home daycare. This hurts small mom owned women daycares. This hurts parents and raises child care costs.
As we see, who is sending all of Ms Dykema’s mailers. It’s the unions like MTA and Democrat State Party. All from Boston, nothing from her committee. We can see where her loyalties lie. She is a reliable vote for the Speaker from Winthrop.

If a home daycare accepts ONE child on a voucher, they are forced into the union!!
If the legislature wanted to increase the rates they could just do it. Senate Republicans offered an amendment to increase the rates and Democrats voted it down. Hence this is just to put home daycare people into a union.
Two years ago the union tried to recruit the home daycare centers into the union. They were turned down so now they got the legislature to force them into the union.
Why do daycare centers need a lobbyist??? That's what is wrong, too.
This puts home daycare at a competitive disadvantage because they now have to pay union dues in the cost of doing business
Home daycare centers are being forced if they accept one child. Moreover, if the home daycare centers want to add children to their center to cover the costs, they can only take voucher children
Dykema's people should be ashamed for not telling the truth. The legislature could have raised the rates without forcing them into the unions! Shame on Dykema.
Here's the real picture from someone who knows firsthand, ie, a woman who runs a home daycare.

It's refreshing to see Mr. Roney admit Ms Dykema votes with the Speaker and the unions. He couldn't deny it any longer, especially when the roll call votes are right there in print for everyone to see.
The facts are undeniable. Ms Dykema votes in lockstep with the Speaker from Winthrop 95% of the time and votes to satisfy special interest big labor union demands. That way, the endorse, donate money and manpower.
Marty Lamb is the true independent having been unenrolled as a voter for decades. He represents the taxpayer interests. He's the one endorsed by the National Federation of Independent Business and Citizens for Limited Taxation, great watchdog groups that focus on people's actual voting record, and they know from scrutiny that Ms Dykema's votes are strongly anti-small business and hurt the economy by raising taxes, spending recklessly and burdening business and killing jobs. As shown by Mr. Roney and Mr. Ray, they can't defend Ms. Dykema's voting record which is all public info and listed with roll call votes.
So, they just simply try to deny it and play the game, "say it aint so, Joe".
They'll say anything to distract. That's all they've got. View Comment
The over-riding factor that trumps everything is how a legislator votes on Beacon Hill. Ms. Dykema has a very liberal voting record that aligns withe the Speaker 95%. That's a big problem. That does not represent the district. It represents the Party line and the labor union special interests, not the taxpayer interests.
Voting to raise sales tax 25% is aligned with liberal thinking.
Voting to force daycares to unionize is aligned with liberal thinking and bowing to the special interests for big labor. View Comment
