Our sidewalk and bus stop are under a 15 ft. Snow bank. I think the plows did the best they could but could use more common sence when it comes to corners and sidewalks. The guys watched us snow blowing the sidewalk and bus stop and came back 30 min. Later and pushed all the snow in the intersection into the sidewalk. We'll see it in April now. Now kids are walking in the street. View Comment
Our family did take out last night and it was great! Portions are generous and quality was very good. Two of my kids had the burgers and they were great. Good luck to you! Thanks for coming to town. View Comment
Agree with Chris l...in the end we may not be able to stop this from happening but at a minimum our elected and town officials have an obligation to be sure that it is done safely and that all proper permits are fulfilled. I am getting the impression that the RR is rushing this so that once they get in there the town has no recourse. I live 2-3 miles from the location but I feel for the nearby residents. This is not about anti business, it's about public safety. View Comment
Women are supposed to be impressed and swayed by Al Franken? You have to be kidding me? I am surprised that Elizabeth Warren even wants to be associated with him? That seals the deal for me...Scott Brown all the way....he doesn't need to bring wacko senators from Minnesota to Central Mass...he brings himself...OFTEN. Did you need a map Elizabeth or did your driver get you here? View Comment
Too bad Dan, the VP debate was last night and clearly you missed it. And as usual Joe Biden came across as the used car salesman he is....I thought he was going to come undone. You have to love the irony of the fact that the Obama/Biden ticket is so pro women yet Joe was patronizing and rude to Martha Raditz. He never would have treated a male that way. Paul Ryan was calm, cool, collected and knowledgeable. As an independent voter, he solidified my vote last night. View Comment
Dear Ms. Adams,
As an undecided voter, I've spent the last several weeks reading every single letter submitted for both selectman candidates, hoping that it would help me decide which candidate to vote for on May 15. I want to thank you for solidifying my vote for Brook Padgett, whom I have never personally met, but only watched on TV.
If you are representative of the Spinney campaign and how Mr. Spinney would represent the town of Grafton on the Board of Selectmen, he does not deserve my vote. Your letter was unprofessional, poorly written and mean spirited. I've not seen that in a single letter so far from either campaign.
Hopefully your letter has not permanently moved this contest in a negative direction and for Mr. Spinney's sake, I hope your letter has not done irreparable harm to his campaign. View Comment
Where does Mr. Spinney currently work? As a voter I like to know what someone's current business experience is and I don't see this in this article or any article about Mr. Spinney. View Comment
Something doesn't seem right about the Town Moderator "endorsing" candidates. This should tell us something about his ability to fairly appoint people to committees. It would be interesting to look back at all of his appointments to town committee? Did he appoint only those who shared his point of view? Can't wait for the next time he is up for reelection....think hard Grafton voters. View Comment
