CT Superintendent’s DUI Arrest Prompts School Board Special Session A Connecticut school board is scheduled to meet this week to discuss potential disciplinary action following the arrest of its superintendent on a DUI charge. Middletown Superintendent Alberto Vázquez Matos was arrested in Brandon, Florida, on July 29, Florida officials said. Police records show that the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office pulled him over just before 11:30 p.m. and arrested the 51-year-old after he refused to take a breathalyzer test.
