Mayor Domenic Sarno and Chief Development Officer Tim Sheehan announced the initiative Friday, targeting properties in the Maple-High Six Corners and South End neighborhoods. The city is offering up to $1.375 million in public funding to support the construction of three-bedroom homes, officials said. The 24-year-old Norwalk native became the first Connecticut-born athlete to win a medal at the Winter Games. Forehand earned silver in men’s freestyle skiing Big Air on Tuesday, Feb. 17, at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Italy.  He scored 95.00 on his first run in the final on Tuesday.
